<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop an engine at a target stop position. <P>SOLUTION: This device includes an engine target rotation speed acquisition process means 91 acquiring engine target rotation speed necessary for reducing engine rotation speed and stopping the engine at the target stop position, a crank angle acquisition process means 92 acquiring crank angles indicating position of a crank shaft, and an engine target rotation speed correction process means 93 correcting the engine target rotation speed based on the acquired crank angles. Since the engine target rotation speed is corrected based on the crank angles, the engine can be stopped at the target stop position even if for example friction force of the engine, an electric machine or the like varies, temperature or viscosity of lubricating oil and cooling oil varies, and a vehicle accelerates or decelerates during reduction of engine rotation speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
