<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control device, a print control method and a print control program which can reduce ink to be consumed by cleaning without contributing to print image formation, by reducing the cleaning frequency. <P>SOLUTION: A color component value indicates the color of each pixel of the image expressed with component color of the first color coordinate system for every pixel of dot matrix. The second color coordinate system includes the above-mentioned first specification color and alternative color as component color, and makes at least a part of the above-mentioned plurality of ink colors the component color. In regard to the color component value, color conversion of the color coordinate system to the second color coordinate system is performed. When a difference arises between the ink amount of the first specification color and the ink amount of the second specification color which is selected from the component color of the second color coordinate system except the first specification color, at least a part of either the first specification color ink or the alternative color ink is substituted with the other ink, and color conversion to the color component value is performed so that the used amount of the ink reduces the difference.
