<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing emulation program and an information processing device that can facilitate the designation of the cause of an error in the printing emulation program. <P>SOLUTION: Every time processing ends in each of a data reception module 20a, a data analysis module 20b, a data conversion module 20c and a transmission module 20d of a printing emulation execution program 20, a log collection program 21 records log information in a shared memory 8 in a PC 3. When an error occurs, a disk ejection program 23 ejects the log recorded in the shared memory 8 into a log file 9a in a disk 9 in the PC 3.
