PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-receiving unit which is to be connected to a confocal optical microscope to constitute a measuring apparatus for measuring the light emitted from a sample. SOLUTION: The measuring apparatus 100 includes the confocal optical microscope 110, an excitation light source 130 which emits excitation light for generating fluorescence from a fluorescent substance, and the light-receiving unit 140. The microscope 110 has an excitation light input port 112 for capturing excitation light from the excitation light source 130 and an output port 113 for outputting fluorescence generated by the excitation light. The light-receiving unit 140 includes an input section 141 for capturing a signal light which includes fluorescence from the microscope 110. The input section 141 of the light-receiving unit 140 is optically connected to the output port 113 of the microscope 110 via an optical fiber 153. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
