<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image display device in which an affected part can be displayed with predetermined luminance and contrast. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray image display device includes an X-ray source (X-ray tube 11) for irradiating an object with X-rays, X-ray image receiving parts (I.I. 12, TV camera 15, A/D converter 16) disposed facing the X-ray source for outputting X-rays transmitted through the object as the digital image data, a gradation processing part for applying gradation conversion to the digital image data by finding gradation conversion data, a display means for displaying a gradation-converted image, and an affected position designating means (manipulator 26) for designating the affected position when converting the display luminance and contrast of image data.
