PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair safely and high operably moving a person between a bed and the wheelchair by being moved in the advancing direction of wheels and smoothly inserted in the lower part of a bed. SOLUTION: This wheelchair 100 is provided with a seat part 11, a backrest 12, a foot plate 13, and a footrest part 14, makes, at least, the backrest 12 and the foot plate 12 of a seat 10 approximately flush with the seat part 11 and moves the user between the leveled seat 10 and the bed. This wheelchair is provided with, at least, the seat 10 having a reclining mechanism 18 in the backrest 12; a base 20 attached with front wheels 21 and the rear wheels 23; and a seat support part 40 provided in the upper part of the base 20, rotationally supporting the seat 10 in a horizontal predetermined position, and vertically moved by an elevating mechanism 35 provided in the base 20.
