PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus for establishing the compatibility between the suppression of causing trouble on a user of an external phone and the achievement of a quick dialing state by the user. SOLUTION: Called destination telephone numbers and a call sequence stored in this way to a storage means 8 are transmitted to a comparison means 9. The comparison means 9 first compares a plurality of the called destination telephone numbers stored in the storage means 8 by a predetermined number of digits from the end of the telephone numbers and provides an output of the result. An inter-dial interval measuring means 11 measures a timing for a succeeding dialing when a phone dial from a dial means 10 to a notice destination 1 is not normally successful on the basis of the result of comparison by the comparison means 9.
