<p>Book-making equipment (1) and a book-making method using the equipment, the equipment (1) placed on the upper surface of a working table wherein one end parts of stacked sheets of paper (10) are joined to each other to form a booklet; the method comprising the steps of inputting the stacked sheets of paper into a clearance between the pressurizing faces (20) of the working table, arranging one end parts or the other end parts of the inputted stacked sheets of paper and projecting one end parts a specified length from the pressurizing faces, and tightening one end parts in the stacking direction of the stacked sheets of paper, whereby since the stacked sheets of paper are stably held on the upper surface of the working table in the state of one end parts projected a specified length from the pressurizing faces, one end parts of the stacked sheets of paper can be easily finished, and the booklet having an increased adhesive strength and an excellent appearance can be formed without requiring much labor and skill.</p> |
