<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sign used for staircase steps, which stores sunlight and light from existing illuminators around during daytime, naturally emits high-luminance light in the dark for a long time to offer high-level discrimination and also protects the steps from their surface wear-off and soil. <P>SOLUTION: The step sign 1 buried in or laid on the steps a of a staircase A is made of a sign base material 2 consisting of a liner paper 3 and an aluminum foil 5 adhered together with adhesives 4 and of glass balls 7 placed on top of the aluminum foil 5 via a binder 6, of a luminescent film layer 8 using a light storing agent for storing ambient light and naturally emitting it placed on top of the sign base material 2, and of a glass film layer 9 made of a metal oxide containing a single or multiple kinds of ingredients placed on top of the luminescent film layer 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
