摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen oxide treatment apparatus wherein the operation efficiency of an ozone supply device and the treatment efficiency of nitrogen oxide are enhanced as compared with a conventional technique. <P>SOLUTION: An NO-containing gas to be treated is supplied to an ozone treatment device 5 through a sensitive part 12 and the respective concentrations of NO and NO<SB>x</SB>other than NO in the gas to be treated are measured by an NO concentration measuring instrument 1 during the supply to the ozone treatment device 5. The amount of ozone necessary for oxidizing NO in the gas to be treated to NO<SB>2</SB>or the like is calculated according to the input from the NO concentration measuring instrument 1 in an ozone amount control unit 4, and the calculation result is inputted to an ozone supply device 3. The gas to be treated subjected to oxidation treatment by ozone supplied from the ozone supply device 3 enters an adsorbing device 6 and NO<SB>2</SB>or the like therein is adsorbed in an adsorbing device 6. An adsorbent having adsorbed NO<SB>2</SB>or the like is subjected to desorption treatment in a desorbing device 7 and the desorbed gas is dissolved in water or the like in a gas-liquid contact device 8 and removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
