DISASTER PREVENTION SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and accurately perform direction of opening/closing of a floodgate or a land lock based on an observation result of a tsunami, and confirmation of an opening/closing situation thereof. SOLUTION: This disaster prevention system has: a photographing means obtaining image data wherein the floodgate is photographed; a storage means storing address information and present position information about a worker's terminal; a writing means receiving the present position information about the worker's terminal from the terminal, and writing it into the storage means; a line securing means securing a communication line with the worker's terminal by use of the address information inside the storage means when receiving notification of the tsunami or an earthquake; a notification means outputting the direction of the closing or the opening of the floodgate to the worker's terminal positioned closest to the floodgate on the basis of the present position information inside the storage means by use of the communication line secured by the line securing means; a state decision means deciding an opening/closing state of the floodgate on the basis of the image data obtained by the photographing means; and an output means outputting the opening/closing state decided by the state decision means.
