PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a print medium from dropping without bothering an operator to operate a switch. SOLUTION: This medium processor applies a process to a print medium 2 at a printing section 6, and then discharges the print medium 2 in the discharge direction by a roller 10 at a table section. A D-shaped roller 13 for urging the print medium 2 by a small force is provided to the downstream side of the printing section 6 in the discharge direction. When it is confirmed by using a PE sensor 11 that the print medium 2 is away from the printing section 6 during the discharging, the print medium 2 is urged by the D-shaped roller 13.
