PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical observation probe capable of narrowing its diameter and to provide an endoscopic observation apparatus. SOLUTION: This optical observation probe is provided with an observation means 46 observing the outside from a tip opening part 45D of an outer shell 45 in the cylindrical outer shell 45 and is insertable into a channel of an endoscope for observing a subject. The outer shell 45 is formed of a transparent material and is provided with a light guide 63 for guiding the light.
