PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine preventing a degradation in visibility of identification information due to reflection or the like of external light or a background around on the surface of a variable display member. SOLUTION: The game machine permits the playing of a game a game by using a prescribed value and offers a prescribed game value on the basis of the result of display of a variable display device. The variable display device is formed of a rotating variable display body in which a variable display member formed by arranging a plurality of kinds of identification information 65 and 77 on a strip-shaped sheet material 64 is provided in the form of a ring. The surface 64a of the side of the sheet material 64 that faces a player is formed into the shape of a mirror surface. An incoming light scattering layer 66 having an incoming light scattering portion 66' scattering incoming light from outside is provided on the surface 64a formed in the shape of a mirror surface.
