FIELD: hydrometallurgy; metallurgy, chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed cooling unit has housing made in form of tower with bottom located above zero mark, cooling air supply ports, electrolyte supply and discharge branch pipes, electrolyte spraying nozzles located above cooling air supply ports; bottom is additionally provided with jackets laid tightly over entire section of tower bottom; their upper parts are made from U-shaped lead profile and lower parts are made from polymer material; cooling unit is also provided with spray traps located in upper portion of tower and made in form of cones mounted at different levels; their surfaces are provided with slots with V-shaped plates radially arranged in staggered order. According to second variant, jackets are mounted at two levels in staggered order. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; reduction of spray losses; reduced labor consumption; reduced cycles of process. 3 cl, 6 dwg |
