A foldable storage crate

A reusable, foldable, stackable, lidded crate comprising a bottom plate (2 figure 3), an integral lid 7, two side walls 3, 4, a front wall 5 and a back wall 6 with hinge arrangements connecting each wall to the bottom plate and a hinge arrangement connecting the lid to the back wall and being constructed in such a way that the crates may be security tagged or locked when carrying goods and may be folded compactly when not in use so that multiple folded crates can fit inside another in an assembled state. The crate may be manufactured from a suitable plastics material such as polypropylene, polyphylene-oxide or poly carbonate.
