A reel of synthetic film is placed close to a hook support for the piece of meat. The free end of film is positioned over the meat which is then rotated to unwind sufficient film to envelope the meat. The film may be a vinyl polymer film such as PVC, PVAc, PVC/PVAc mixt vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer. The film contain a plasticiser and minor amounts of anti-forging and anti-stick agents. |
