PURPOSE: A method of preparing rice containing an herbal component of Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae by soaking rice in a Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae extract and drying is provided. The rice has an antihypertensive action, platelet aggregation inhibiting activity, blood circulation promoting activity and the like. CONSTITUTION: The functional rice is prepared by the steps of: washing rice with clean water three times or more and dehydrating; soaking the dehydrated rice in a Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae extract; dehydrating and drying the soaked rice; and repeating the soaking and drying process two times. For an example, 40g Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae is extracted with 5L water at 100deg.C for 4hr to give 3,500cc Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae extract, which is added with 2L water and extracted to give 700cc Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae extract. Then, 800g rice is soaked in 320g Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae extract for 12hr and dried at 60deg.C. |
