PURPOSE: A system for packing oriented containers and a method thereof are provided to reduce working hours, and to pack the container at high speed by arranging the containers quickly with the orientor before arranging the container in the container transporter. CONSTITUTION: A container alignment apparatus(100) for arranging containers(60) before arranging the containers in a container transporter is composed of a reader(120) deciding the first orientation of the container, a control system(130) deciding the shortest rotation distance from the first orientation to the desired rotation position between the clockwise rotation and the counterclockwise rotation, and a chuck engaged with the container and communicated with the control system to rotate the container to the desired rotation position with the shortest distance. Plural containers are transferred into the inlet port of the orientation wheel, and the orientation wheel is moved from the inlet port to the packing machine to turn and arrange the containers properly.
