PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to suppress the temperature rise of various electric parts mounted in an electrolyzer and to restrain the smell of hypochlorous acid contained in the electrolyzed water from the laundry. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine is composed of a water supply unit(33) for feeding the water into a washing tub(2); an electrolyzed water supply unit(7) for providing the electrolyzed water into the washing tub; a rinsing step execution unit for rinsing the laundry by applying rotary power to the laundry with pouring the water in the washing tub; a dewatering step execution unit for dewatering the laundry before the rinsing step by applying rotary power to the laundry with the water supplied to the laundry; an electrolytic rinsing-deciding unit for judging whether the rinsing step is to be executed or not by using the electrolyzed water fed by the electrolyzed water supply unit; and a water-supply time extending unit for increasing the water-supply time for the dewatering step if the rinsing step is decided to execute.
