The connector has a socket (37) placed on an insulating case (5).The socket has two elastic locking straps (41, 42), each to be bent during insertion of a contact (3) in the socket by taking several positions among the releasing positions and detection positions preventing assembling of a blocking unit (11) on the case. The releasing positions are non concomitant on the gist of the insertion of the contact.
