PURPOSE: A method and a system for confirming an e-mail received to an e-mail server through a public phone or the mobile communication are provided to load received e-mail data by previously registering the e-mail servers and accounts to receive an e-mail confirmation service, and performing member certification of multiple e-mail servers with a single e-mail confirmation request. CONSTITUTION: A web server(201) registers data needed for requesting/performing the e-mail confirmation service through the public phone or the mobile communication. A homepage(202) performs an interface role for a service user connected to the web server. A CGI(Common Gateway Interface)(203) receives/transfers a member ID/password of the service user. A service registration part(204) registers information for using the service. A service use particulars inquiry part(205) provides particulars using the service. A database server(206) stores member information, service registration information, service use particulars information, and service charge information. A data transmitting/receiving part(207) transmits/receives the information needed for providing the service.
