<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening structure of an air bag door capable of preventing foaming chips from separating from a foaming body and sputtering when the air bag door is opened. <P>SOLUTION: The opening structure of the air bag door is configured so that a skin protruding edge part 46 is provided protrusively in an adjoining region 44 extending along a skin cleavage designed part 26 formed at the skin 16 and the forefront surface 48 of the skin protruding edge part 46 will be put in contact with the door outer surface 50 located alongside a door rupture designed part 24 of the air bag door 20. Thereby the skin protruding edge part 46 will be extended along the outer contour line of the air bag door 20, and the foaming body 14 is enclosed in the inside. Accordingly when the air bag door 20 is opened, the foaming body 14 is not exposed at the door end face, so that the foaming chips are prevented from separating from the foaming body 14 and sputtering.
