HOT WATER STORAGE TYPE WATER HEATER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by detecting hole formation of a heat exchanger 4 by a simple composition in regard to reheating hot water of a household bath by a hot water storage type water heater that heats water.

SOLUTION: The hot water storage type water heater built-in with a heat exchanger 29 for reheating bathtub water in a hot water storage tank 22 is provided with a supply water flow rate detecting means 30a provided in a midway part of a water supply passage 21, and an outflow hot water flow rate detecting means 30b provided in a midway part of an hot water delivery passage 25. It is provided with a malfunction signaling means 31c such as lamp lighting or operation of a warning sound signaling a malfunction warning when a supply water flow rate detected by the supply water flow rate detecting means 30a is more than an outflow hot water flow rate detected by the outflow hot water flow rate detecting means 30b.
