<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment method capable of easily and inexpensively forming a film excellent in adhesion with a base material and reduced in cracks independently of the kind of the base material, and to provide a surface treatment liquid therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In a mixing stage, an acetone solution (1 vol.%) of 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane is prepared, and is left standing for three days. Next, as a treatment liquid coating stage, a process where a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film is still dipped into the acetone solution, is further pulled up and is dried is repeatedly performed.
