PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boots ring that can be used for an existing joint unit and produce the pre-designed face pressure in well balanced at the requested position. SOLUTION: After a sealing part 1a at both ends of a boots 1 covering the joint unit is fitted respectively to a fitting part 4 of the joint unit where a seal groove 4c is formed along the entire circumferences, the boots 1 is made to be the boots ring 10 that fixes to the joint unit by tightening and fixing to the sealing part 1a. A pressing part 10a that presses the sealing part 1a of the boots 1 partially to both edge parts Ps of the seal groove 4c is equipped to all inner circumferences. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
