<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge by which operation needed for fitting to a stringed instrument main body and adjustment is easy and fine string vibration corresponding to a musical performance can precisely be detected. <P>SOLUTION: The bridge 2090 has a main body part 210 with a notch 230 formed on a plate surface 210S of a general bridge. In this notch 230, two bimorph type piezoelectric elements 250 which detect deformation of the main body part 210 are provided separately from inner wall surfaces forming the notch 230.
