PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an erroneous report on a collision in cases where a walker carrying a portable terminal is on another vehicle and to make a collision report necessary for an occupant of an own vehicle. SOLUTION: As to this vehicle travel supporting system for information communication between a vehicle-mounted terminal A mounted on a vehicle and the portable terminal B carried by the walker, the terminal A determines the possibility of a collision with the walker carrying the portable terminal B to report the possibility of a collision, if any, to the occupant. However, in cases where the portable terminal is located in another vehicle, that is, the walker carrying the terminal is on the vehicle, the collision report is regulated.
