PURPOSE: A thermostat mounting structure of a microwave oven used for a hood is provided to prevent components of the microwave oven from damaging by removing the external heat in advance and to discharge quickly the heat by detecting the heat by a thermostat. CONSTITUTION: In a thermostat mounting structure of a microwave oven used for a hood, a portion of a thermostat(70) for detecting the external heat is exposed out of the microwave oven. The thermostat is installed through a base plate(52) forming the bottom shape of the microwave oven. In addition, the thermostat is composed of a sensing unit(72) for detecting the temperature and a housing(74) for covering the sensing unit. The sensing unit is exposed downward the base plate. An exhaust fan(62) is controlled to protect internal parts of the microwave oven by the sensing of the thermostat.
