PURPOSE: A cooling device for hydraulic oil of construction heavy equipment is provided to improve the durability of an oil cooler by reducing the load and back pressure of an oil cooler by reducing the quantity of hydraulic oil passing through an oil cooler, and to reduce the manufacturing cost by simplifying pipelines. CONSTITUTION: In the cooling device for hydraulic oil of construction heavy equipment, which contains a main hydraulic pump(P1) supplying hydraulic oil to actuators, a steering pump(P2) supplying hydraulic oil to a steering device and joining with the main hydraulic pump(P1) when the steering device does not operate to supply hydraulic oil to the actuators, a control valve controlling to supply the pressure oil of the main hydraulic pump(P1) to actuators selectively or to return to an oil tank, a pilot pump(P3) supplying pilot signals for controlling the control valve and driving a fan motor(M) for an oil cooler, and an oil cooler(4) cooling down the hydraulic oil discharged from the pump and returned to the oil tank, one of hydraulic oil return lines of the main hydraulic pump(P1) and the steering pump(P2) is connected with a main return line(2a) which returns directly to an oil tank(T) without going through the oil cooler, another return line which is not connected with the main return line(2a) is connected to the upper stream of the oil cooler(4), then connected with an auxiliary return line(3a) which returns to the oil tank(T) after cooling down through the oil cooler(4).
