PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for realizing such functionality that a high speed operation can be realized, that power consumption can be reduced as far as possible, and that a necessary memory can be made as small as possible in electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The method and the system (100) associated with the method comprise preliminarily allocating a portion of a memory (106) in a first processor (104) based on a control input and determining in a second processor (102) whether or not the portion of the preliminarily allocated memory (106) can satisfy a memory allocation request. This method includes assigning the preliminarily allocated portion of the memory (106) to the allocation request when the preliminarily allocated portion of the memory (106) can satisfy a memory allocation request. However, the method includes allocating a portion of the memory (106) in the first processor (104) to the allocation request when the preliminarily allocated portion of the memory (106) cannot satisfy the memory allocation request.
