PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a micro rubber fiber, by which the micro rubber fiber having a thickness of≤30μm can easily be produced from a rubber as a raw material. SOLUTION: This method for producing the micro rubber fiber is characterized by preparing a 10 to 50 wt. % organic solvent solution of an unvulcanized rubber, spinning the organic solvent solution in air to form the micro fiber, and then vulcanizing the micro unvulcanized rubber fiber.
