PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the occurrence of a crack and a flaw in a coating layer, when cutting a coated sheet, in a coated sheet cutting method and a device. SOLUTION: A disk-like cutting lower blade 10 and a disk-like cutting upper blade 20 having an edge angleθ2 smaller than an edge angleθ1 of the cutting lower blade 10, are arranged so that the rotational axes C1 and C2 of both blades become parallel, and a part of both blades mutually overlaps in the rotational axis extending direction. A coated sheet 30 is inserted between both blades, and is carried in the carrying direction orthogonal to the rotational axis, while contacting a surface of the support 32 side for supporting this coated layer 31 of the coating sheet 30, with the outer periphery 12 of the cutting lower blade 10, while rotating both blades, and this coating sheet is cut. In cutting, a contact starting position of the coated sheet 30 and the cutting upper blade 20, is positioned in a contact area for contacting with the outer periphery 12 of the cutting lower blade 10 in the coated sheet 30; and overlap quantity of mutually overlapping in a part of both blades, is set to 1.5 mm or less.
