SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HOME AUTOMATION USING SMART CARD THROUGH NETWORK SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A system and a method for home automation using a smart card through a network system are provided to remotely control a home automation system of a user by using the network system installed to other house after performing certification of the network system with the smart card. CONSTITUTION: The smart card(200) stores user information and login information. A smart card reader(300) reads the user information and the login information from the smart card. A user terminal(400) requests user certification by transmitting the user/login information received from the smart card reader through the data communication network(100), and transmits a remote control signal inputted from the user through the data communication network in case that the user is certified. A main server(500) judges the lawful user by receiving the user/login information, and remotely manages a remote management object by using the user terminal of the requested house in the case of the lawful user.
