METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SETTING CONTRAST AND LUMINANCE OF RADIATION IMAGED PICTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and speedy method by which pictures are automatically presented with proper contrast and/or luminance.

SOLUTION: The method and device for improving angiography images are used with a radiation imaging device (100) which is provided with an X-ray source (103), a device (102) for recording images and a test object (200) positioned in such a way that an interested area (104) of an object of imaging is presented. The method includes a step (a) for collecting a series of continuous images Inin the interested area, a step (b) for determining a map image I from the series of images In, a step (c) for determining a group of parameters characterizing the gauss distribution function which models gray level distribution of the map image I, a step (d) for determining the luminance and/or contrast improving function and a step (e) for applying the improving function to the series of images Inin a subtraction mode.
