<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing rye by which rye rice eaten without any difference in palatability is obtained when rye and rice are cooked. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing rye cookable with rice is to soak washed rye as a raw material in water at normal temperature for one day and drain the same, add a predetermined amount of water to the raw material rye, pack in vacuum, boil at around 100°C in a heating cooker for about 1 hour, cool to about 50°C, take out the rye from the heating cooker and mix the rye with rice in a predetermined amount to be cooked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
