PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile which can project its projecting means into the ground with less force than a force used for a conventional one and also which has a sufficient bearing capacity against both directions of a pulling-out direction and a settlement direction. SOLUTION: A pile K1 is provided with a pile body 1 having a sharp-edged part 2. On side walls of the pile body 1, openings 106, 107 are formed. At the lower part of the pile body 1, arch-shaped projected parts 3, 3, guiding parts 4, 4 to guide the projected parts 3, 3 to their moving directions and a pressing part 50 to push and project the projected parts 3, 3 from the inside to the outside of the pile 1 are housed. With a pressing bar 6 inserted from the upper side of the pile 1 and pushed downward, the projected parts 3, 3 are pressed down by the pressing part 50 moved along the guide parts 4, 4, and then, beginning from the tip ends, they are projected outside (into ground) through the opening parts 106, 107.
