PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire extinguisher capable of being easily installed on the wall or the column of a place where fire is used, being housed compactly normally, and being automatically operated by the heat of flame to sprinkle a fire extinguishing agent and extinguish a fire when the fire occurs. SOLUTION: This fire extinguisher is constituted of an outer box 10 provided with a door whose sealing part is opened by the heat of the flame, an inner side case 30 pivoted inside the outer box in the state of being inclined to the front, and a fire extinguishing agent case 40 housed inside the inner side case in a suspended state, made of a heat fusible material, and filled with the fire extinguishing agent inside.
