PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing plate which enables high-definition screen printing to be performed by making the diameter of a line appropriate and thereby, inhibiting faults such as the necking and breaking of a line and its manufacturing method as well as a method for forming a wiring pattern. SOLUTION: The screen printing plate is configured of a plate frame, a mesh sheet material 2 adhesively supported by the matter to be printed side of the plate frame and a masking material 5 integrally laminated on the matter to be printed side of the mesh sheet material 2. In addition, the mesh sheet material 2 is formed of a plurality of longitudinal lines 3 and cross lines 4 arranged orthogonally, and openings 6 are formed in the masking material 5 and the cross lines 4 of the mesh sheet material 2 exposed from the openings 6 of the masking material 5 are removed by an etching liquid. Thus a mesh intersection of a printed pattern is no longer seen, so that the numerical aperture of the openings 6 is increased and the flatness of the screen printing plate is improved without generation of appearance irregularities.
