PURPOSE: A microstrip antenna device and connection method thereof are provided to individually test a microstrip antenna and a transmitting/receiving module and reduce the size and weight of the device. CONSTITUTION: A microstrip antenna device comprises a microstrip antenna and a transmitting/receiving module connected integrally with each other. The microstrip antenna includes a microstrip line, a ground plane, a dielectric interposed between the microstrip line and the ground plane, and a ground plate attached to the ground plane. The transmitting/receiving module includes a coaxial line which is directly connected to the microstrip line, penetrating through the ground plate.
