<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the decline of the tensile strength of a core wire 3 due to thermal influence in forming a leading plug part 10 and to improve quality/performance in a guide wire for medical use in which: a coil spring 4 is fitted to the core wire 3 at the tip part of the wire main part 2 of a flexible wire body; and the leading plug part 10 composed of a plug body base part 5 whose diameter is expanded at the front end of the core wire 3 and outer circumference is brought close to or joined to the inner side of the coil spring 4 and a bulged part 6 integrated with the plug body base part 5 and bulged at the front end of the coil spring 4 is provided. <P>SOLUTION: A guide wire 1A for the medical use is structured such that the tip part of the core wire is formed into a diameter-expanded reinforcing part 11 integrated with the plug body base part 5 at the front end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
