PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which includes construction capable of securely preventing foreign matter such as water and muddy water from penetrating into its interior in any case when being rotated and when being in rest and thereby, can maintain performance over long period of time. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing 10 including an outer ring 12, an inner ring 11 and a plurality of balls 13 is provided with a sealing arrangement 14 in the form of circular annulus which includes basis end 25 fixed to install on a sealing installed part 19 formed on the outer ring 12 and includes on a tip part a lip 27 which seals interior space in which lubricant of the rolling bearing 10 is enclosed by being brought into slide contact with a sealing groove 16 formed on the inner ring 11. Amount of irregularities in one circumference of plane of the sealing groove 16 with which the lip 27 of the sealing arrangement 14 comes into slide contact is established to 30μm or less.
