PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary napkin with which the area of rear flap parts is widened and liquid is prevented from leaking orthogonally rearward. SOLUTION: The rear flap parts 42 are formed respectively in the rear parts of folding flap parts 41 to be put around the crotch part of underwear, and provided with side edges 42a substantially in parallel with a center line Oy-Oy in a longitudinal direction. First rear pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 52 are arranged in the front part of rear flap parts 42. The first rear pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 52 are arranged in front of the rear ends 30b of leakproof walls 3 and the rear end part 10a of a main absorptive area 10. The rear flap parts 42 are firmly fixed at the first rear pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 52, so that the leakproof walls 30 are hardly moved. Thus, leak toward an orthogonally rear part is effectively prevented through the use of the leakproof walls 30 and the rear flap parts 42 positioned at the outer parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
