PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable switch capable of maintaining a half-pushing state (putting on an AF lock) for a camera equipped with a cable connected with the camera, a switch case at an end part of the cable, and a switching button held by the switching case with its protrusion position regulated, carrying out an AF operation at the half pushing and a release operation at a full pushing. SOLUTION: The switch case is provided with a half-lock mechanism locking the switching button at the half-pushing state and not inhibiting a pressing operation of the switching button toward a full-pushing direction.
