PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sealant and a gas generator which can keep gas tightness even when the parallelism or relative position between blocks has been changed. SOLUTION: The gas generator has a plurality (large number) of blocks having passages combined so as to connect the passages. The passages between the blocks are formed annularly, and their outside peripheries are connected using a seal material 10 formed to be a spherical surface about the center of the ring. In addition, the blocks are connected using the pipe, the end of which is inserted into the seal material 10, so as to provide a gap. Further, the gap formed between the blocks around the pipe is closed with a spacer. The passage includes a plurality of passages to which different kinds of fluid are supplied, and mixes the different kinds of fluid supplied to the plurality of passages. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
