PURPOSE: An antenna device is provided to change directional characteristics of the antenna device in a wireless LAN device in an easy and simple way. CONSTITUTION: An antenna device(10) comprises a waveguide having a predetermined length, a reflector, and a radiator which are arranged to have a changeable positional relationship. The waveguide, the reflector, and the radiator are arranged into a first mechanism and a second mechanism which are switchable with each other. The first mechanism permits the waveguide, the reflector, and the radiator to serve as components of a directional antenna. The second mechanism permits the waveguide, the reflector, and the radiator to serve as components of a non-directional antenna. In the first mechanism, the waveguide, the reflector, and the radiator are arranged in parallel with each other, with predetermined intervals and identical centers. In the second mechanism, placement of at least one of the waveguide, the reflector, and the radiator is changed.
