METHOD FOR DISPLAYING TONE MARKS OF A MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, PARTICULARLY RELATED TO IMPROVING THE CONVENIENCE OF A USER BY PROVIDING AN INTERFACE MORE FAMILIAR WITH THE USER

PURPOSE: A method for displaying tone marks of a mobile communication terminal is provided to improve the convenience of a user by providing an interface more familiar with the user by displaying a corresponding tone mark at a position of a vowel where a tone will be displayed according to the order of priority. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of tone mark fonts according to a China tone mark notation are generated separatedly from phonetic symbols. In inputting the phonetic symbols by using a key pad, a position having the highest voice tone display priority is found to display a tone mark immediately above a corresponding phonetic symbol. According as a user repeatedly presses a predetermined tone mark conversion key, the tone marks are displayed in a circle.
