PURPOSE:To attain the insertion and recording of signals without giving any effect to the signal recording/reproducing operations as well as to use an ON/ OFF switch to obtain a miniature changeover switch, by providing the insertion/ recording signal and winding for normal recording to a rotary transformer. CONSTITUTION:When an insertion/recording mode is set during reproduction of a recorded video tape, a system controller 22 receives the synchronizing signal obtained from a reproduction amplifier 6 and delivers the signals of insertion/recording modes for several H periods of a field to turn on switches 14 and 16 and off switches 15 and 21 respectively. The reproduction signal sent from a video head 1 is supplied to the amplifier 6 from a coil 11 via a rotary transformer 10. At the same time, an insertion/record current is delivered from an insertion/recording circuit 4. Then a record current flows to a coil 12. This record current is supplied to the heat 1 via a rotary coil 13 of the transformer 10 and recorded to the video tape. |
