The invention describes laminated flooring panels of a rectangular pattern and cut into at least two different lengths, with the same width. The panels are packed as mixed lots to enable the installer to mix and match in order to achieve a more natural pattern, compared with the conventional regular pattern. For added effect different widths of panel can be used with each pack having the same width but of different lengths. The upper surface of the panels is applied with a wood finish pattern, either as a veneer of as a printed pattern. The panels have profiled edges to lock onto adjacent panels.
