PURPOSE: A method for reporting roaming of a dual band dual mode terminal is provided to immediately confirm current state and usability of the terminal by displaying a preliminarily set icon in a state that the terminal completes 2G-3G roaming. CONSTITUTION: It is confirmed the movement of the network of a DBDM(Dual Band Dual Mode) terminal. If the movement is confirmed, the signals of the network are searched. If the signals are found and roaming is completed, a network usable icon is displayed. An alarm sound is generated at the same time to cope with roaming pingpong phenomenon.
